Taking Agha Shahid Ali's poem Land as a starting point, the comic speaks of a state of exile. The one which is forced upon people due to different kinds of caste boundaries, riots, wars and ethnic attacks. The kind that forces people outside of what was their home, what they thought they belonged to. The kind that forces borders and casts segregation upon land, society and reduces the value or worth of human life. The kind that Dalits have faced for thousands of years persisting even today. The kind that is faced by the Adivasis in Chattisgarh fighting to live in their own forests.
